My photo album
Christmas Eve on the farm. Yard manager Pam with her partner, Phil. My nephew Gonzalo who now lives in Dublin with Belen, his wife.
Raquel Correa at the Embassy of Chile 2016. Raquel was one of the lecturers at the Postgraduate "Diplomado Interdisciplinario de Estudios de la Mujer" at Universidad de Concepción, another of my degrees, LOL
This picture makes me smile each time I look at it. We were playing scrabble at the cottage in Wales and I Nam decided to 'help' (she is very helpful, lol) Lynda by sleeping on her arm.
With my siblings again, but many years later (2017). They are: Rosa, myself, Nancy, Rodrigo, Jorge and Juan Carlos.
Literature keeps me alive. Here with my friends Sofía Buchuck (Perú) and Bárbara López (Colombia) and her son Eric Polese-López.
With the Hispano-American Writers on Memory plus Valentina Montoya and David, her husband at the Bolivar Hall in London (2016)
Mabel Encinas, Isabel Ros-López and Marijo Alba three of the members of the Hispano-American Women Writers on Memory at El Sueño Existe, 2017
Valentina Montoya (Chile) and Cleo Boix (Argentina) at the Embassy of Chile when we did the Prize giving ceremony for the Victorina Press, Relato Corto 2017
Valentina Montoya and Maria Eugenia Bravo-Calderara. Valentina is a singer, song-writer and poet. Now she is directing a film. María Eugenia is a member of the Hispanoamerican Women Writers on Memory and a great poet.
With Felly Nkweto Simmonds in Cambridge. We reunited with all the women who contributed to Black Feminism: A reader published by Taylor & Francis in 1997. It was a nice reunion.
In this album you’ll find a collection of some of my photographs that show my life both in the UK and in Chile. Most of them remind me of who I am, of those who love(d) me and of those who have touched my life in so many ways. I will keep adding more, so be patient.
